Skip the cheaper curry couriers and head to this “eclectic”, “funky”, “quietly hushed” “Southern” subcontinental spot in Downtown Santa Clara (with branches in Delhi and Southern California) for “refined” vegetarian “delicacies” including “true dosas” (“not your garden variety”) and Thali plates, it’s “filled with Indians, a true testament” to the kitchen’s “expertise at layering spices and depth of flavor”, and customers are “welcomed as treasured, old friends.”

You can even “bring omnivore friends” to this vegetarian Southern Indian restaurant (affiliated with outposts abroad and Southern California) hidden in a Santa Clara strip mall that also delights expats and “American palates”; the menu offers a “good cross-section” of the “bright flavors of Bangalore” including “amazing dosas” and Thali plates while the “attractive, calm interior and very accommodatingstaff” make for a “nice evening out.”
